During the Direct Registration process, a Direct Account Authorized Representative is delegated in writing by an owner, partner or corporate officer of the organization (also called Entity). The Authorized Representative manages all matters related to the Direct Account, including execution of legally binding agreements. The Authorized Representative may manage several Direct Domain and addresses on behalf of the organization. They must have their identity verified to the highest Level-of-Assurance (LOA) required by the Direct Certificate Policy they are subscribing to. The Authorized Representative must have at least one Direct address for administrative communication and notifications.
An Additional Administrator is an individual designated by the Authorized Representative to assist in managing a Direct Domain and users for an organization. An Additional Administrator must have their identity verified to at least the Level-of-Assurance (LOA) required for the Direct Certificate Policy they are subscribing to.
